General questions

What is Dr Plasty?

Dr Plasty is an online platform in Azerbaijan that connects patients with verified plastic surgeons, aesthetic dentists, and hair transplant specialists. The platform itself is not a clinic — its purpose is to help you find the right doctor.

Is Dr Plasty a clinic itself?

No. Dr Plasty is a virtual aggregator platform and does not have its own clinic. It showcases partner doctors' profiles and makes the initial contact easier, while the procedure itself takes place at the clinic of the doctor you choose.

Is it paid to apply through Dr Plasty?

No, applying through the platform and requesting an initial consultation are free. Payment only takes place directly with the clinic, after you and the doctor have agreed and you have decided on the procedure.

How can I apply?

It's enough to fill out the form on the doctor's or procedure's page you are viewing, or to message directly via WhatsApp. The team will contact you shortly to arrange a consultation.

Can I apply from abroad?

Yes, Dr Plasty is designed both for people living in Azerbaijan and for patients who want to travel from abroad. You can also discuss any questions about travel planning during the consultation.

How is my information protected on the platform?

The information you provide in the application form is used only to connect you with the doctor you have chosen and is not shared with third parties. It is recommended that you share your personal information only to the extent necessary during the consultation.

What information do doctor profiles include?

Profiles bring together the doctor, specialty, clinic, and available procedure information so you can compare options. Confirm qualifications, experience, and clinic details directly with the doctor or clinic before deciding. Dr Plasty is not a clinic; medical services are provided by independent doctors and clinics.

How is Dr Plasty different from other sites?

Dr Plasty is not a single clinic's marketing site: you can compare several doctors against the same criteria and see the procedure, the indicative price range, and the recovery time in one place. The site works in Azerbaijani, Russian, Turkish, and English, and prices are given as ranges that are finalised at consultation rather than as fixed figures.

Pricing & payment

How much do the procedures cost?

Price varies depending on each patient's anatomy, the technique chosen, and the doctor's experience, so we do not display a fixed figure. The exact price is only communicated after a free consultation, based on an individual assessment.

Why isn't an exact price shown on the site?

Many individual factors affect the price of aesthetic procedures — body structure, scope of work, materials used, and so on. A generalized figure would not accurately reflect the real situation, so the price is only finalized at the consultation.

How do I make the payment?

Payment is made directly to the doctor or clinic you choose, not to the Dr Plasty platform. Details about the payment method and schedule are agreed with you during the consultation.

Is an installment payment plan possible?

Some clinics may offer installment payment options, and this varies from clinic to clinic. The specific terms should be clarified with the clinic of the doctor you choose during the consultation.

Do I need to pay in advance for the consultation?

No, the initial consultation is free and creates no obligation. The payment stage only begins after you decide to go ahead with the procedure.

Can I trust a place offering a very low price?

Price should not be the only criterion when choosing — the doctor's qualifications, experience, and the clinic's conditions matter at least as much as price. It is advisable to ask direct questions during the consultation about any suspiciously low prices.

Safety

Are aesthetic procedures dangerous?

Like any surgical intervention, aesthetic procedures carry certain risks, but these are minimized with an experienced doctor and appropriate clinical conditions. The doctor explains the risks relevant to your specific health condition individually during the consultation.

Is anesthesia dangerous?

Anesthesia is generally considered safe when administered by an experienced anesthesiologist, chosen according to the patient's health indicators. Medical examinations conducted before the procedure confirm suitability.

What examinations are needed before the procedure?

Blood tests, a heart check, and a general health examination are typically required; the exact list is determined by the doctor based on the type of procedure and the patient's medical history. These details are clarified during the consultation.

Which conditions can be an obstacle to surgery?

Certain chronic conditions, uncontrolled blood pressure, or the use of certain medications can increase the risk of surgery. This can only be determined after discussing your personal medical history with the doctor, so it is important to share all your health information during the consultation.

Is the result guaranteed?

No, no serious clinic or platform can promise a one-hundred-percent guaranteed result — the body's reactions are individual. The doctor explains realistic expectations and the possible range of outcomes during the consultation.

Will there be pain?

Pain is not felt during the procedure thanks to anesthesia. Mild discomfort in the following days can be normal, and pain management is planned in advance by the doctor.

Choosing a procedure

How do I know which procedure suits me?

This cannot be determined accurately from a distance — every patient's body structure and wishes are different. During the free consultation, the doctor examines you in person and offers the most suitable options.

Can I have several procedures done at the same time?

In some cases combined procedures are possible, but this depends entirely on the patient's health condition and the doctor's assessment. Only the doctor can make this decision after the consultation.

What is the difference between surgical and non-surgical methods?

Non-surgical methods (such as fillers or Botox) are less invasive and give temporary results, while surgical procedures provide longer-lasting change. The doctor explains which option suits you during the consultation.

Is there an age limit?

For most aesthetic procedures it is important that the patient's body development is complete, which is why most clinics use the age of majority as a baseline. The specific age and health conditions are discussed with the doctor during the consultation.

What is discussed during the consultation?

During the consultation the doctor listens to your expectations, assesses your physical condition, and provides information about the suitable technique and process. You can ask your questions freely at this stage, and no obligation is created.

Recovery

How long does recovery take after the procedure?

Recovery time varies depending on the type of procedure and the individual reaction of the body — some procedures may need just a few days, others several weeks. The doctor explains the exact timeframe for the chosen procedure during the consultation.

When can I go back to work?

This depends on the physical demands of your job and the type of procedure. As a general recommendation, heavy physical activity should be avoided during the early part of recovery, and the exact timeframe is determined by the doctor during the consultation.

What rules should I follow during recovery?

In general, strictly following the doctor's prescribed medication, wound care, and physical activity restrictions makes the recovery process easier. Each procedure has its own specific instructions, which are explained in detail after the procedure.

When can the final result be seen?

While swelling and redness decrease in the first weeks, full tissue formation usually takes months. The realistic timeframe varies by type of procedure and is explained by the doctor during the consultation.

Are painkillers needed during recovery?

In many cases, mild painkillers are recommended for the first few days and are prescribed by the doctor in advance. If pain is severe or persistent, you should contact your doctor immediately.

Doctor & clinic

How can I check a doctor's qualifications?

Ask the doctor or clinic directly about qualifications, specialty documents, and relevant experience. Confirm these details before deciding on a procedure.

How should I choose a doctor?

It is important to pay attention to the doctor's area of specialization, experience, and how well they match your expectations. Speaking directly with the doctor during the consultation, asking questions, and feeling comfortable is the best way to decide.

Where does the procedure take place?

The procedure does not take place at Dr Plasty, but at the clinic that the doctor you choose works with. You can ask about the clinic's equipment and conditions during the consultation.

Can I meet several doctors and compare them?

Yes, it is completely normal and recommended to have free consultations with several doctors and compare their opinions. It is more sensible to make the decision without rushing, choosing the doctor you feel most comfortable with.

Can I stay in touch with the doctor after the procedure?

Yes, most doctors provide follow-up check-ups and monitoring as a natural part of the process after the procedure. This is part of the plan agreed upon during the consultation.

Where can I see the doctor's ratings and reviews?

Doctor profiles show reviews shared by past patients, which helps you form a general idea of the doctor's approach. It is still recommended to make your final decision after a personal consultation.
