Aesthetic surgery prices (Baku, 2026): a transparent guide
A transparent guide to aesthetic surgery prices for 2026: what affects the price, why a range is shown and what determines the exact figure. Starting price ranges published openly.
Medically reviewed by Op. Dr. Elvin Əliyev.
For most people considering an aesthetic procedure, the first question is the same: "How much will this cost?" Yet on the Azerbaijani market that question is hard to answer. You open clinic websites one after another — there is plenty of information about the procedure, there are result photos, but in the price section you meet almost everywhere the same sentence: "The price is determined at the consultation." The patient, however, wants to know at least a direction, a starting figure, before leaving home or picking up the phone.
This uncertainty creates anxiety. People cannot plan a budget, cannot compare options and often postpone the decision. At Dr Plasty we have chosen a different path: we show our starting price ranges openly. We do not hide our figures — because transparency is the first step towards trust. In this article we present an open guide to aesthetic surgery prices for 2026 and explain how a price is formed and why it varies.

Note: the figures above are starting / indicative ranges. The exact price is determined only after a face-to-face examination, according to your individual situation.
The ranges in the table are a starting point. Below we explain in detail why we show a range rather than a single figure, and what the price depends on.
What affects the price?
Why does the price of the same procedure vary from one patient to another? Because a price does not come from a single factor, but from a combination of several:
- Scope and complexity of the operation — a simple correction and an extensive, multi-stage intervention do not require the same time and resources.
- The technique used — an open or closed approach, endoscopic equipment, and the implant or material chosen all affect the final amount.
- Type of anaesthesia — local and general anaesthesia differ both in resources and in the involvement of an anaesthesiologist.
- Length of hospitalisation — after some procedures the patient stays under observation at the clinic for a few hours, after others for a few days.
- The surgeon's experience and specialisation — the experience a surgeon has gathered over the years is an inseparable part of the value of the service.
- Additional services — some clinics offer a package; accommodation, transfer, post-operative care and follow-up examinations may be included in it.
Each of these factors contributes to the final amount. That is why two different patients can hear different prices for the same procedure — and that is entirely normal.
Why a range and not a single figure?
In aesthetic surgery, the idea of "one price for everyone" rarely reflects reality. Every person's anatomy, health status and expectations are different. One patient may need a simple correction, another an additional stage. As a result, even a procedure carrying the same name requires an individual plan.
That is precisely why we present a range instead of a single, "final" figure. A range gives you two things: first, a realistic frame within which you can plan your budget; second, an honest expectation — because the exact amount can only be set by the doctor who sees your specific situation at the examination. In one sentence: the range guides you, the examination refines it.
Cheaper abroad?
Many patients hear that a procedure is more affordable abroad, especially in neighbouring countries. Sometimes the advertised figure really does look lower. But when calculating the real cost, you have to consider not only the operation itself but the whole picture:
- Travel and accommodation — tickets, lodging, meals and local transport are added to the price of the operation.
- Time — spending part of the recovery period in an unfamiliar city means stepping away from work and family life.
- Follow-up and monitoring — questions arise after surgery and a follow-up examination is needed; distance makes this difficult.
- Access in case of complications — if a problem occurs, rare as that may be, reaching your surgeon easily matters. Outside the country that means extra travel and delay.
In other words, the "low figure" abroad is often not the full picture. At a local clinic you stay close to your doctor, you go through recovery in your own environment, and you can easily come in for a check-up when needed. The choice is yours — we simply want the calculation to be complete.
Balancing price and quality
Price matters, but in aesthetic surgery it cannot be the only criterion. Aiming only for the lowest figure sometimes leads to unexpected outcomes. An excessively low price usually comes at the expense of something: experience, material quality, sterilisation standards, anaesthesia safety or aftercare.
An aesthetic procedure is a health-related decision. So when you weigh the price, ask these questions too: who performs the intervention, under what conditions, with which materials, and how will you be supported afterwards? The sound approach is to look for a balance between price and quality — neither needless expense, nor a figure so low that it turns into a risk. The right choice is an informed choice.
Payment and budget planning
An aesthetic procedure is usually a step planned in advance, and preparing your budget accordingly makes the decision easier. For many patients what matters is not only the price itself but also how payment is organised. Some clinics may offer to split the payment into stages or provide different payment methods; it is useful to ask in advance which options are available. A transparent approach shows itself here too: payment terms, what is included in the price and what may come as an additional cost should all be clarified beforehand. That way the patient does not run into unexpected amounts and makes the decision calmly and thoughtfully. When planning the budget it is worth counting not just the operation itself but also the recovery period — small yet real costs such as medication, dressings and follow-up visits. A clear payment plan makes the process far less stressful.
What happens at the consultation?
To understand why the exact price is quoted only after an examination, it helps to know how a consultation goes. At this meeting the doctor first listens to you: they try to understand what you want, what result you expect and what worries you. Then they ask about your health history — past operations, chronic conditions and the medication you take can all affect the treatment plan. During the physical examination the doctor assesses your anatomical features and determines which technique suits you. After all this you are given a realistic, individual plan and the price that matches it. The consultation is also your opportunity to ask questions: you can openly discuss the process, the recovery time and the expectations. It is this step that turns a general range into an exact figure for your specific situation.
